Intern Massages are Available to the Public

With great pleasure we offer a Swedish Massage to our community for at least 50% less than the usual rate for Swedish massage. Our graduate students who have completed 450 hours of massage training will apply those skills to the public.

Swedish Massage

The term "Swedish Massage" refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and massaging in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

Swedish massage is relaxing and invigorating. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being.

Massage increases blood supply, oxygen, and nutrition to muscles, tissue, joints, and the vital organs, and improves circulation throughout the body. This helps muscles to recover more quickly from physical exertion and fatigue (especially after a strenuous workout). Massage also helps to alleviate the pain and discomfort related with muscle tension, sprains, backache, and stiff joints.

Cost of the Massage

• Our internship massages are $35.00 for 1hour and $50.00 for 1.5 hours.
• Gift certificates are available.
